Purchase recovery
Recover access to your Starter Pro purchase when the email is missing or the download link has expired.
Use purchase recovery if your Starter Pro access email is missing, you lost the original link, or your download link has expired. You do not need a PyColors account or another purchase to request access.
This guide concerns the Starter Pro ZIP you bought from PyColors. It does not reset a password or manage subscriptions inside an app built with Starter Pro.
For a receipt, invoice, or billing-detail question, see purchase receipts and invoices. Resending an access link does not resend payment documents.
If checkout did not completeLink to section
If the checkout button cannot open the payment page, try again later. If you already attempted a payment or are unsure whether it completed, open purchase support before paying again.
For a declined payment or interrupted authentication, follow the instructions on the payment page. You can retry when you know no payment completed and none is pending. The interrupted checkout page does not verify payment status or cancel an existing payment.
If payment is confirmed but access is missing, use the recovery steps below. Recovery does not complete an unpaid checkout. Support can review an uncertain payment using your checkout email, product and approximate purchase date; do not send card details or access links.
Recover your downloadLink to section
- Check the inbox and spam folder for the email address used at checkout.
- Open purchase recovery, enter that same email address, and choose PyColors Starter Pro, then select Resend access link.
- If eligible access is found and the request can be processed, PyColors sends a new claim email. Open its access link, check the product name, and download the ZIP from the claim page.
- Unzip the package and continue with Getting started.
Access links currently expire 24 hours after they are issued. If a link expires before you download, request a fresh one. Keep claim links private: they grant access to your purchase.
What the confirmation means
The recovery page gives the same confirmation whether or not eligible access is found. It does not confirm that a purchase exists or that an email reached your inbox. Repeated requests may also be temporarily limited.
If recovery does not workLink to section
No email after the confirmationLink to section
Check the checkout email for typos and look in spam. If you made several requests, wait at least 30 minutes before trying again. If it still does not arrive, contact support.
The form reports an errorLink to section
Check your connection and try again later. If the error continues, contact support; the error does not prove that your payment failed.
The access link is unavailable or the download failsLink to section
Request a fresh link. If that also fails, contact support with the product name and the error you see.
The email points to another PyColors productLink to section
Choose PyColors Starter Pro on the recovery form. Recovery targets the selected product only. If the new email still points to another product, contact support before purchasing again.
You cannot access the checkout emailLink to section
Contact support. The recovery form cannot change the email address on a purchase.
Recovery cannot complete an unpaid checkout or restore access that is no longer active. If you believe you paid but cannot access the product, contact support before making another purchase.
Ask for purchase supportLink to section
Open purchase support for the email contact and instructions if your email app does not open. Include:
- the email address used at checkout;
- the product name, Starter Pro;
- the approximate purchase date and order reference, if available;
- what happened and the steps you already tried.
Do not include passwords, payment card details, API keys, or claim/download links. Remove those details from screenshots too. Support can review the access issue; no response-time or resolution-time guarantee is promised.
